And while getting your protein from whole food will always be the best option, busy schedules and life detours can make just getting enough protein difficult enough, let alone getting it from good, quality sources. That’s a problem for a healthy lifestyle in general, but it’s especially detrimental if you’re trying to get lean because protein is not only the building block of lean mass, it’s also the nutrient responsible for cell and tissue (muscle) repair and helps your body produce hormones like ghrelin which regulate appetite. If you’re not getting enough protein, you’re shortchanging your results, recovery & metabolism. And that makes me super fucking sad.

So anyway, yeah, I’ve created this resource page to make it easier to shop all my favorite high protein snacks, which will hopefully help you find some good high protein options that you really enjoy and also help my clients avoid getting 50 individual texts from me. This is my #1 favorite whey protein powder. It's THE cleanest whey protein I can find and it tastes absolutely amazing! It's premium organic grass-fed whey protein blended with Fair Trade Certified™ Dark Chocolate and sweetened with a light amount of organic stevia. It's gluten free, kosher & contains 20 grams of protein per serving for 110 calories! I mix mine with Silk unsweetened vanilla almond milk or Califia unsweetened toasted almond and coconut milk and it's BOMB.
This is a my favorite whey/casein blend protein powder blend but I have a love/hate relationship with it.
The PROS: This protein powder has 26 grams of protein & 1 gram of sugar in one 120 calorie serving! It tastes incredible and MOST flavors - read the label - are sweetened with stevia. It also contains casein protein, which digests more slowly, & can help keep you feeling fuller for longer
THE CONS: While casein protein can keep you feeling fuller longer, it can be very hard for some people to digest, if ya know what I mean so any attention to how you feel if you don't know how this affects you. Some of their flavors contains a small amount of Sucralose 🙁 something you should try and steer clear of. Unfortunately, you're hard pressed not to find added sugars and/or artificial sweeteners in most great tasting protein powder and this one contains the smallest amount of any that I've found.

This is the best ready to drink option out there! It's amazing because you can just grab it and go, it's clean, it's available in organic vegan and organic grass fed options and it's so tasty I promise even your kids will love it!
This is my favorite why protein bar and my favorite overall! I'm obsessed! I love them SO much because it's the softest protein bar that I've ever eaten, it's the cleanest & it has more protein than any almost every other vegan protein bar out there.

This is one of my long-time favorites. They contain 21 grams of protein, 14 grams of fiber, 1 gram of sugar! My little trick to turn them into a protein dessert is to pop them into the microwave for 10 seconds. They get all soft and the chocolate gets all melty. NOMMM

This is how you get 20 grams of protein in your teenage daughter before 8 am. Or yourself. In a hurry. These take LITERALLY less than a minute to make! Just pour water or almond milk into the cup, stir and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. BOOM. You have a fabulous protein muffin. I'm always sharing my fave snacks with clients and friends and this is always a hit!

Guys, it's CHIPS made of CHICKEN! I've tried a lot of the protein chips and none of them tasted good to me. This is a game changer. So delicious and contain 7 grams of protein per serving!
