HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Upon purchase you will be emailed a new client intake + program design questionnaire.
- You fill out the questionnaire form & send it back to me.
- Upon receipt of the completed questionnaire, your program will be designed within 3 business days*
- An email will be sent to you containing a link to download the mobile app (available for iOS & Android) & setup your custom dashboard where you will have immediate access to you workout plans.
- You can also access your plans online from your web interface dashboard & print your workouts in PDF format if you like.
- *Please allow an extra 24-48 hours for plans purchased on weekends.
HOW SOON CAN I START MY PLAN?
Unless otherwise dictated by your schedule I design all workout plans to begin on Monday and adhere to a set schedule.
DO I NEED A GYM MEMBERSHIP?
Nope. I have home or gym options available, just tell me what you need!
DO I NEED EQUIPMENT IF I WORKOUT FROM HOME?
The only thing you’ll need to workout from home are a foam roller and yoga mat. Having a set of dumbbells or resistance bands can be great and provide for a variety of exercises but are not required at all.
WHY ARE THE PROGRAMS ONLY 4 WEEKS LONG?
Around 30 days has been consistently shown to be the optimal amount of time to train with a set program. Consistency & progressive overload are crucial to building lean mass and a 4 week period allows enough time for mastery & growth without allowing your body to adapt & plateau.
However, progression is not always linear in every component of your fitness plan. For example, you may progress much faster in some lifts than others so it’s critical to adjust accordingly every 4 weeks in each area based upon your individual progress so as to keep your training program optimized to give you the best results in the least amount of time.
WILL I BE BILLED MONTHLY FOR MY PLAN?
Scared of commitment? Don’t worry. I’ll never bill you automatically until you’re ready to make it official. Just remember to purchase a plan for the next month at least 3 business days in advance to take advantage of monthly check-ins & receive your new plan without lapse.
Butttttt – if you wanna make it official & you’re more than ready to totally transform your body, I want to make it easier for you to commit by offering you 10% off the purchase price of each plan, each month for 3 months when you commit to a 3 month billing cycle.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?
If you adhere to the program and eat a healthy, balanced diet of whole foods with the right portion sizes I guarantee you will see results within the first month. However, if you looking to achieve a true transformation you should commit to 12 weeks with any exercise regimen you choose.
DO YOU PROVIDE MEAL PLANS?
Nope. But I do provide you with a guide filled with tips that transformed my yo-yo diet lifestyle into a healthy eating lifestyle, a healthy eating grocery store list cheat sheet to use for planning your own meals & a discount code for the meal delivery service that I use if you prefer to go that route vs. cook at home for some or all of your meals.
WAIT. IF YOU DON’T PROVIDE MEAL PLANS WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND PLANNING OUR MEALS OR USING A MEAL DELIVERY SERVICE?
#1.A “meal plan” is different from meal planning. A meal plan tells you exactly what to eat, how much of it to eat, & when to eat it. This creates an unsustainable, rigid & restrictive relationship with food. When you feel deprived it’s easy to become obsessed with food – which leads to an unhealthy relationship with food – which is usually what got you here in the first place.
Gaining an understanding of how to eat healthy whether you’re cooking at home, using a meal delivery service or on the go, so that you’re aware of what you’re putting on your plate and can make a healthy decision in advance is a totally different story.
If you commit to learning how to make your own plate & plan your own meals properly with a variety of healthy foods that YOU like, it will enable you to change the habits that got you here, leading to a healthy relationship with food & continued success.
#2.Since a healthy lifestyle change does requires making conscious choices to change the unhealthy food habits that got us here in the first place, you have to be very thoughtful, yet very practical at the same time.
Example: Let’s say your main unhealthy food habit is that you hit the drive thru or order a pizza on a regular basis because most nights you are just too tired to cook after you’ve worked all day, picked the kids up from school, etc. Trying to cook healthy meals every day or always find a healthy on the go option is a great goal but it’s also a great way to set yourself up for failure when life gets all life-y.
Ordering from the right meal delivery service can take the pressure off altogether or it can fill in the gaps when you don’t have the time or energy to cook. In addition, it takes the mental work out of the equation while still teaching you how to eat healthier by reinforcing healthy portion sizes as well as exposing you to different healthy food combinations.
DO I NEED TO TAKE SUPPLEMENTS?
Nope. There’s nothing that your body needs that you can’t get from real food. I drink high quality protein shakes a few times a week out of the convenience but it’s totally not necessary.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY CHECK-INS?
Will we review your progress in each area, identify & address any obstacles, questions or concerns you may have that need to be addressed as well as discuss any necessary adjustments or modifications to your program.
HOW CAN I BE SURE I’M DOING THE EXERCISES CORRECTLY?
Each exercise has a video demonstration and detailed step by step instructions on how to properly perform each exercise. I always recommend performing your exercises in front of a mirror if possible as this is some of the best immediate feedback you can get. If you feel uncomfortable with certain exercises or are still unsure if you’re performing them correctly, refer to the next question.
WHAT’S A FORM EVALUATION & WHY’S IT IMPORTANT?
A form evaluation is where I have you perform certain exercises and I assess your movement to identify & address any faulty movement patterns. Performing exercises incorrectly not only puts you at high risk for injury, it has aesthetic consequences as well when other muscles or muscle groups have to compensate for a lack of strength or mobility. Sometimes all someone needs is a helpful pointer or two to be able to perform an exercise correctly. Sometimes there’s a mobility or muscular imbalance that needs to be dealt with. Regardless of the cause, investing a little time up front to address any issues with your form will pay off tenfold in the long run. If you’re inexperienced with exercise or just unsure you’re doing certain exercises right, I highly recommend choosing a plan that includes a form evaluation.
